I am a board approved supervisor for AAMFT, MAMFT, BBHT, Board of Professional Counselors & Therapists in Maryland for both LGPC and LGMFT. I am also a certified business consultant for VIBE Collaborative. I have over 10+ years experience in working with trauma and have training in EMDR, ART, Internal Family Systems, and Psychedelic Assisted Therapy. I have gone through extensive training in order to provide the most effective techniques for treating traumatized adolescents & adults.
I am very honest and direct in my approach to therapy. I spend a good amount of time getting to know you by listening to your personal story. It's essential to my work that you feel comfortable, listened to, supported and most of all, safe.

I’m involved in engagement and culture initiatives to help maintain a healthy, supportive environment for our team and those we serve. With a background in human resources and operations, I focus on building systems that empower our team members to provide quality care to their clients. My goal is to ensure those doing important healing work feel seen, valued, and set up to succeed.

Jessica Smith, MA, LMFT

I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who helps clients navigate difficult life transitions and enduring mental health concerns. I strive to create a safe, trusting space for individuals, couples, and families to explore challenges and build new skills for positive change. I hold a master’s degree from Argosy University Twin Cities and am a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family (AAMFT) and is a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor for the MN Board of Behavioral Health and MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy.

I specialize in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Perinatal Mental Health. I have experience supporting clients with postpartum issues, infertility, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, personality disorders, and family conflict.

I use an honest, validating approach to help clients enhance communication, manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and boost self-confidence.

I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 200, RYT 500), Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT), and practicing birth and postpartum doula. I hold a BS in Therapeutic Recreation with a concentration in Physical Therapy from Hampton University and a MS in Yoga Therapy from Maryland University of Integrative Health. With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in trauma-informed, client-centered support for individuals navigating chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, menopause, and maternal health. In my sessions I integrate mindfulness-based interventions such as breath awareness, meditation, self-inquiry, and guided relaxation to help clients regulate their nervous systems, process trauma, and reconnect with their inner strength. I also incorporate mudras (therapeutic hand gestures), restorative movement, and yoga philosophy, including the kosha model to support resilience and whole-person wellness.

I'm a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with experience supporting women, men, adolescents, couples, and families. I work with individuals experiencing ASD, depression, anxiety, trauma, and personality traits/disorders, and I help couples and families with parenting, communication, and assertiveness.

I am certified in DBT and Mindfulness and enjoy facilitating process and skills groups focused on communication, relationships, emotion regulation, self-esteem, and transitions.

Using a strengths-based, person-centered approach, I help clients identify their unique areas of growth, honoring them as the experts of their own lives. I also incorporate mind-body-spirit concepts, believing they are integral to healing and recovery.

Outside of work, I’m a mother of three young adults, a yoga teacher, and enjoy meditation, hiking, gardening, music, singing, and traveling with my family and pets.
